A well established and highly regarded IT Managed Service Provider based in Western Sydney is on the lookout for an Account Manager to strengthen its sales team. This is a client-facing role for someone who understands technology, enjoys solving business challenges, and thrives in a results-focused environment.
You will be the go-to person for a group of valued clients, ensuring their technology works in step with their business strategy. You will identify opportunities for growth, collaborate with technical experts, and guide projects through to completion, all while delivering measurable value and building strong, long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and nurture relationships with key decision makers.
- Proactively manage client accounts while also responding quickly to any issues or requests.
- Work closely with Sales and Marketing leaders to create and execute plans for growing client accounts.
- Proactively suggest upgrades and enhancements to improve client IT systems.
- Create strategic technology plans aligned to each client’s objectives.
- Host regular business and technical review meetings, ensuring agreed actions are delivered.
- Manage the client experience from first contact through to ongoing support.
- Spot and convert new business opportunities to hit and exceed targets.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in IT sales, account management, or technical client support.
- Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud solutions, and managed services.
- Proven ability to manage and grow client relationships effectively.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to handle multiple clients and tasks.
- Commercial mindset with the ability to translate technical information into business value.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, tailored to different audiences.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to manage client issues promptly.
- Valid driver’s license and own vehicle.
