We're seeking an experienced Technology Senior Business Analyst to support a portfolio of ongoing projects in the traded risk space. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to impactful initiatives, enhance data insights, and drive delivery outcomes across institutional banking.
The role will involve requirements gathering, identification of potential data gaps, Interface requirements, UAT testing, new report development, and adhoc analytical requests relating to the project deliverables.
What’s the role?
- Gather and define project requirements, including interface and reporting needs
- Identify data gaps and support resolution strategies
- Lead and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Develop new reports and respond to ad-hoc analytical requests
- Conduct data analysis using SQL, Excel, and other tools
- Generate requirements documentation and insightful recommendations
- Highlight project delivery issues and opportunities through your analysis
- Contribute to resolving data integrity concerns across initiatives
What do I need?
- Must have experience in Financial Markets (Credit or Market Risk) as a Tech Business Analyst.
- Must have technical problem-solving capabilities.
- Must have sound technical background.
- Working knowledge of using SQL, Unix and excel for data analysis.
- Proficiency in documentation and presentation tools (Word, PowerPoint).
- Ability to identify and articulate data-driven solutions.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Knowledge of UAT processes and interface design principles.
