The Role
Provide hands-on legal support and work closely with a specialist Partner and a busy team of Lawyers. Your role will be essential to the smooth day-to-day running of matters in public and product liability, workers compensation, and motor vehicle accidents.
Duties
- Maintain accurate case files, including insurance details, witness reports, and medical records
- Preparing legal documentation for courts and government organisations
- Liaising professionally with clients, counsel, and third parties
- Organising lawyers' calendars, appointments and court dates
- Conducting legal research tasks
- At least 12 months up-to-date experience as a legal assistant in a litigation or personal injury team in a law firm
- Collaborative problem solving skills
- Strong ability to initiate and finalise tasks autonomously
- Superior organisational and prioritisation abilities
