The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic Legal Assistant to support one or two Partners and their team of Associates in the Construction Practice Group. Offer integral support and work on some of Australia's most interesting matters involving residential property developers, commercial and industrial builders, civil contractors, engineers and government departments at both state and federal level.
Duties
- Organise client events, meetings, and social functions for the Practice Group
- Engage directly with clients and external stakeholders to resolve simple queries, maintain files and pass on information
- Assist in all aspects of file management including creating, amending, and distributing legal documentation
- Manage monthly billing including client invoices and internal reporting
- Minimum 12 months up to date relevant experience in a law firm
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Strong time management and task prioritisation
- Team player who can build relationships and has a friendly nature!
