Job System Administrator, Sydney

A private educator in the cities eastern suburbs is looking for a confident system administrator who can step in and understand their infrastructure, helping shape the future of the schools IT solutions. A successful Administrator will be heavily involved in endpoint protection, answering escalated tickets and the development of the school’s digital environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing cloud computing alongside physical and virtual storage solutions
• Plan, design and coordinate the implementation of new infrastructure
• Administer and manage O365 service for all accounts
• Act as the highest escalation point for tickets and help requests.
• Develop and enforce cyber security solutions for students and staff
• Implement endpoint protections and lead security initiatives
• Liaise with suppliers and external support teams to achieve all goals

• Extensive experience in ICT System administration roles in organisations of similar size
• Certifications in several of the follow: Azure, AWS, CompTIA, Microsoft/O365.
• Experience developing and deploying security solutions.
• A degree in IT, computer science, cyber security or related fields
