An excellent opportunity has become available for a motivated Registered Nurse to utilise their clinical knowledge and skills in a dynamic leadership role for the Orthopaedic Service at a private hospital in Sydney. It is a permanent full-time position.ABOUT THE ROLE The Clinical Coordinator plays an integral role in the Orthopaedic Ward. You will assist the Nurse Unit Manager in leading the nursing team in delivering evidence-based care to achieve optimal patient outcomes within the allocated resources. You will function as a role model, promoting and leading patient-centred care.
REQUIREMENTS
- Current AHPRA registration;
- A minimum of four years’ experience in Orthopaedic Nursing;
- A strong commitment to patient experience and relationship-centred care;
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate and lead patient care teams, including efficient patient flow and support the Orthopaedic Outreach Model of care;
- Demonstrated focus on ensuring patient and team safety, providing direction and support;
- Having positive inter-professional relationships with VMO’S, nursing team members and Allied Health to enable high-quality patient outcomes;
- Advanced communication skills;
- Demonstrated ability to lead a quality improvement project;
- Willingness to invest in own professional development;
- Ability to work Monday to Friday morning shifts;
- Relevant post-graduate qualification or willingness to work towards (desirable).
