GenesisCare are now looking for passionate and enthusiastic Radiation Therapists to join our supportive team on a casual basis. Working at our clinic at the North Shore Health Hub (located in St Leonards) or within the Mater Hospital.
As a Radiation Therapist you are responsible for delivering high quality efficient and effective radiotherapy treatment and/or planning.
More specifically, you will:
- Personally undertake radiation therapy planning and treatment responsibilities and associated duties.
- Promote and contribute to an effective multidisciplinary team at the relevant Centre and across the practice.
- Responsible for the correct administration of all radiation therapy processes and procedures.
- Ensure that all administration and documentation requirements are initiated and completed in a professional and timely manner.
We're interested in hearing from people who have:
- Demonstrated technical competence in all areas of radiotherapy at an appropriate level (treatment, simulation and planning), including comprehensive knowledge of contemporary radiotherapy modalities and techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to work in an effective team environment.
- Strong empathy, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of radiotherapy and associated allied healthcare services.
- Bachelor degree as relevant (Radiation Therapy).
- Registration as a Radiation Therapist with AHPRA.
