Job Manager, Events - 6 Month Contract, Sydney

The Company:

This fabulous Events Agency are leaders in managing and delivering corporate events for a range of clients. They are looking for a Manager, Events to join their team on a 6-month contract basis to work in-house within one of their tech clients businesses. The company provides tech services and support for people across the globe and are looking for a Manager, Events to manage the delivery of a range of B2B events, from executive roundtables through to large-scale customer conferences.

Position Terms:

• Full-Time 6-Month Contract
• Working 3 days in the office, location in North Sydney
• Salary: $120,000 - $140,000 plus super pro rata (depending on experience)

The Role:

The Manager, Events will work closely with the marketing, brand, and sales teams within the tech company to bring strategic event experiences to life. The Manager, Events will lead the end-to-end planning and execution of in-person and virtual events, and will work from the clients offices in North Sydney.

Key Responsibilities include;

• Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of in-person and virtual events.
• Act as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders, translating business goals into engaging event experiences.
• Manage timelines, budgets, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless delivery.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to produce cohesive, on-brand event assets and end to end customer experience.
• Track KPIs and report on event performance, with a focus on continuous improvement and ROI.

The Candidate:

The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing B2B events, ideally within a technology environment. Experience supporting an in-house agency is highly desirable.

• Strong client service mindset with the ability to manage multiple internal stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable with event platforms and project management tools.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality events under pressure and tight timelines.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work from the office 3 days a week, located in North Sydney.
• Ability to travel for events when required (including for roadshows).
