The Position
In the role of Head of Sales your responsibilities include:
- Take full ownership of end-to-end sales strategy, velocity planning, and project staging
- Align internal and external sales channels for each project, including seamless stage release planning
- Shape and approve pricing strategies to maximise margins and meet commercial goals
- Lead a high-performing sales team with a focus on accountability, discipline, and results
- Set and manage total sales and settlement targets, including commission frameworks
- Deliver strategic input during site acquisition, with a strong sales and market lens
- Work hand-in-hand with Development, Marketing, and Finance to align product mix, pricing, and timing with market demand
- Keep senior leadership in the loop with regular updates on buyer behaviour, market shifts, and competitor activity
- Consolidate reporting and insights to guide decision-making at the executive level
- Coach, mentor, and grow your team into a best-in-class sales unit
- Drive continuous improvement across the full sales lifecycle to enhance the customer journey and boost efficiency
The Person
The ideal candidate for the role of Head of Sales will have:
- Over 5 years' experience in senior leadership roles within property sales
- Proven track record managing integrated sales and marketing teams
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale residential sales programs successfully
- Strong commercial acumen with a strategic, outcomes-focused mindset
- Deep expertise in pricing strategy, project staging, and sales velocity planning
- Highly effective communicator with strengths in stakeholder alignment and executive reporting
- Skilled in leading, mentoring, and motivating large teams to consistently meet and exceed targets
