Description of the job
Senior Marketing Performance and Analytics Manager
We’re partnering with a fast-moving business looking for a marketing-savvy analyst to join their team. This is a unique opportunity for someone who blends analytical thinking with a deep understanding of digital marketing channels — someone who doesn’t just track performance, but drives it.
Around 70% of your focus will be on performance marketing — optimising paid campaigns, identifying growth opportunities, and collaborating closely with channel specialists. The remaining 30% will be dedicated to analytics — owning reporting, building dashboards, and uncovering insights that inform strategy and fuel smarter, faster decisions.
You won’t manage campaigns end-to-end, but you’ll work alongside performance teams, step in where needed, and provide strategic direction backed by data.
You won’t just observe performance — you’ll shape it.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end reporting on marketing performance across acquisition, conversion, and ROI.
- Build and maintain dashboards in platforms like Looker and Amplitude, creating tools that are useful, clear, and actionable.
- Investigate performance changes across the funnel, identifying what’s working, what’s not, and what to do about it.
- Collaborate with Performance, Product, Creative, and CRO teams to surface and act on growth opportunities.
- Support strategic planning with insights that drive smarter budget allocation, testing plans, and channel decisions.
- Provide hands-on tactical input across paid channels (Meta, Google, YouTube, and ATL) during peak periods or team gaps.
- Work with internal data teams to ensure accurate tracking and access to marketing metrics.
- Support automation, test-and-learn culture, and the development of reporting frameworks that scale.
- Contribute to marketing mix modelling efforts in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitor broader market and behavioural trends and feed insights into the broader marketing strategy.
- 4+ years in an analytics, insights, or performance role with strong exposure to marketing data.
- Deep understanding of core growth metrics (CAC, ROAS, LTV, payback) and how to use them to guide strategy.
- Skilled in tools like Looker, GA4, Amplitude, Google Sheets; SQL is a bonus.
- Able to design dashboards that provide clarity and spark action.
- Familiar with paid channels, especially Meta, Google, YouTube, and understand how they operate in practice.
- Excellent collaborator, able to work cross-functionally with creative, technical, and performance teams.
- $130K - $150k + super
- Hybrid 3 days in the office
