Conversion Optimisation Lead
Full-time | Sydney | Hybrid
We’ve partnered with a fast-growing digital business scaling quickly across paid channels. As Conversion Optimisation Lead, you’ll be the driving force behind turning traffic into results, owning landing page strategy, testing creative concepts, and pushing performance through structured experimentation.
You won’t be buried in product sprints or tweaking buttons in isolation. This is a marketing-focused CRO role, working closely with performance marketers, designers, and developers to build high-converting pages and creative that tells a story and drives revenue.
We’re looking for someone who’s as strategic as they are hands-on, a data-driven, insight-hungry optimiser who knows how to move fast and iterate intelligently.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the CRO function across the marketing funnel, especially from ad click through to key conversion points
- Own an ongoing program of testing across landing pages, messaging, and creative elements
- Ideate and execute A/B and multivariate tests on layouts, copy, CTAs, visuals, and flows
- Work with designers, developers, and media buyers to bring test ideas to life, fast
- Use tools like GA4, Hotjar, Growthbook, Prismic (and others) to track, measure, and learn
- Ensure every optimisation aligns with brand tone and visual integrity while driving conversions
- Build dashboards or frameworks to communicate insights and surface what’s working
- Help shape creative strategy based on test learnings, influencing future ads and messaging
- Contribute to a test-and-learn culture focused on outcomes, not opinions
- 5+ years of experience in CRO, UX strategy, growth marketing, or a similar role
- A proven record of improving performance through structured testing
- Deep knowledge of CRO tools, CMS platforms, and analytics systems
- A strong blend of creative intuition and analytical thinking
- Experience working cross-functionally with designers, developers, and marketers
Salary: $130k - $150k + super
Flexibility: Hybrid - 3 days in the office
