Job Survey Draftsperson, Sydney

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience as a Survey Draftsperson or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, and other relevant drafting software.
• Strong understanding of surveying principles, terminology, and data interpretation.
• Ability to read and interpret field notes, sketches, and survey data.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• A relevant degree or certification in drafting, civil engineering, geomatics, or a related field is a plus.
• Australian Citizenship or Permanent Residency.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Create detailed survey drawings using CAD software or other related drafting software.
• Draw boundary surveys, topographic surveys, strata/subdivision plans, and construction setouts.
• Work with raw survey data collected in the field (total stations, GPS, 3D scanners).
• Convert field data into accurate and readable technical drawings.
• Assist surveyors by preparing pre-survey plans and updating plans after fieldwork.
• Draft plans required for land subdivisions, community titles, and strata developments (common in NSW).
• Prepare final drawing sets, title block information, notes, and certification areas.
