Are you a passionate B2B sales professional with a flair for building strong client relationships and smashing growth targets? Join Fantastic Furniture, one of Australia's best-loved lifestyle brands, as our Business Development Manager (BDM) and help us grow our B2B customer base while delivering amazing customer experiences.
About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you'll play a key role in driving revenue by identifying and qualifying leads, converting opportunities, and nurturing long-term client relationships. You'll be an expert in pitching our B2B buying programs and collaborating closely with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and results.
What You'll Be Doing
* Prospecting and qualifying new B2B leads, with a focus on Tier B1 clients
* Prioritising opportunities via sizing and forecasting exercises
* Developing tailored client pitches and proposals using existing sales materials
* Managing and growing existing customer relationships to maximise value
* Coaching retail and sales teams to strengthen B2B engagement
* Attending networking events, exhibitions, and conferences to boost brand presence
* Tracking and reporting on your sales pipeline and performance metrics
* Identifying and sharing market trends and customer insights
What You Bring
* Proven success in B2B sales with a strong track record of meeting/exceeding targets
* Minimum 2 years' experience in a BDM or retail management role
* Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
* CRM and sales pipeline management experience
* A self-starter attitude with the ability to thrive under pressure
* Strong collaboration skills and a passion for customer satisfaction
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
