The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a professional and driven Catering Assistant or Corporate Boardroom Attendant to join our in-house Catering Team on a full time, permanent basis in our Sydney office.
Clayton Utz is a leading Australian commercial law firm. Our in-house Catering Team is responsible for providing exceptional food and beverage services to our clients and visitors, partners and employees.
As a member of this collaborative team, you will demonstrate excellence in client service, ensuring seamless delivery of all front-of-house catering services for clients, employees and partners, visitors to the firm and other events as required, ensuring recognised service level standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional, friendly and efficient day-to-day food and beverage service for clients and employees for internal and external boardroom meetings, conferences and other events. This includes breakfasts, morning teas, lunches, afternoon teas, cocktail parties, dinners and VIP functions;
The opening and closing of the client floor, ensuring all tasks are completed for daily operations, including cleaning and restocking of staff hubs; and
Assisting in the inhouse café.
Skills & Experience
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Certification in Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA);
Food Handling Certificate;
1-2 years' experience in a hospitality environment (boardroom experience highly desirable);
You will enjoy working with people of all backgrounds and pride yourself on your excellent customer service skills;
Exceptional organisational, interpersonal and communication skills;
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours from time to time;
Experience coffee and other hot beverages will be highly advantageous;
Knowledge of table setting, especially in a fine dining environment (highly desirable).
