Role Overview

This is an exciting role reporting to a first class Management Team and being a key part of a newly created Finance function. The purpose of this role is to support with day to day operational finance responsibilities as well as providing a platform to develop your skills in reporting, compliance and business management reporting. The business is at a transformational stage so exposure to the development of processes, specifically around efficiencies and automation will be highly regarded. There will also be the opportunity to develop and further your skills in Financial Accounting tasks alongside providing the Finance Manager with a strong level of support. This is an organisation which is in significant growth mode, therefore, a passion for supporting a business that is in growth-mode will be critical for success in this role.



Responsibilities

• Operational Finance Support and Process improvement - Development of processes around transactional finance activities as well as looking for opportunities to automate repetitive tasks.
• Financial Control - Support with preparation of BAS and GST settlements
• Administration Support - General Finance administrative services
• Business Performance - Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities

Candidate Profile

Being either CPA or CA partly qualified you are currently likely sitting in either an existing Financial Accountant / Accountant role or an Assistant Accountant role looking to make a step up. You have a minimum of 4 years experience, ideally developed in a medium to large business with prior use of a large ERP system and are seeking to develop the next stage of your career in a fast-paced organisation that will invest in your growth and fast track your progression. You are energetic and happy to take on new challenges and hold the values of service, passion and integrity alongside a forward-thinking outlook.
