- 6 months contract with a possible extension
- Attractive daily pay rate of $ 1100 per day + super
- 8 hours per day/ 40 hours per week
- Hybrid (Work from home + office location would be Macquarie Park and Sydney CBD)
In this role, you will be partnering with stakeholder groups across the government department and lead a team to deliver organisational designs. The role focuses on project delivery, in a matrix management environment to deliver sustainable business outcomes.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Drive delivery across the enabling stakeholder groups (teams in Finance, Technology & Commercial, People & Culture, Legal & Governance) to support the stand up of organisational designs.
- Provide project management to problem solve, overcome project challenges and drive successful outcomes and lead enablement teams to optimise performance.
- Delivery project updates on performance, risks, and issues, and report key milestones and interdependencies to leadership for decision-making.
- Build and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment and support across delivery.
- Attend and contribute to key governance meetings and ensure projects align with governance frameworks
- Understand the incoming pipeline of activity and collaborate with the delivery teams to ensure appropriate resource allocation to meet enablement needs.
- Work with stakeholders to identify issues and track their resolution, ensuring accountability for enabling activities is upheld while identifying and addressing potential risks to drive successful business outcomes.
- Drive end-to end process improvements and establish clear pathways to achieve improved business outcomes across various key stakeholder groups.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent knowledge and/or experience.
- Demonstrated track record in delivering multiple projects in short periods of time in a complex environment.
- Experience matrix managing a project team drawn from subject matter experts and including communication and change management resources.
- Government sector experience would be preferred.
