Your Opportunity

With continued growth, we are now looking to recruit an Assistant Manager to join our Business Services & Tax Advisory team in Sydney.

• Provide tax and accounting advice and solutions to a diverse portfolio which includes small to medium sized entities, family and privately owned businesses, trusts and partnerships, foreign subsidiaries and small listed entities
• Further develop your technical expertise working across services including tax and accounting compliance and business/tax advisory work for middle market clients
• Play a key role across the full scope of client engagements including regular client contact and attending client presentations and meetings with senior leaders
• Develop into a mentor to assist other less experienced team members and encourage their continued professional development

Your Experience

• 2 to 5 years of post-graduate advisory experience in an accounting firm specializing in Australian tax and accounting services
• Bachelor of Business (Accounting) or equivalent from an Australian institution
• Experience in preparation of financial statements, BAS and income tax returns for all entity types
• Knowledge of all structures and corporate groups, with the ability to manage compliance with Division 7A and trust distribution
• General business advisory is useful but not a substitute for the above mentioned core experience
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• An ability to establish and develop effective professional relationships
