The Opportunity: We have a new opening for an Adviser Success Manager to join our growing Practice Optimisation Services team. This is a new exciting role brought about by our vision and strategic direction to serve advisers as a trusted business partner to help them serve more clients, better. The successful candidate will be an ambitious, experienced self-starter that will play a crucial role in partnering with advisers to help remove the friction of increased operational complexities in their advice process and key impediments preventing advisers of implementing a strategy which they believe will achieve their clients’ goals. It will help these advisers optimise and transform their business to their desired new strategic direction in a seamless and faster manner. This role is internal and will be based in our Sydney office.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the delivery of practice optimisation services, providing excellent service to advisers who strategically partner with Morningstar for the implementation of goals-based investment solutions.
• Responsibility for adviser onboarding and ongoing service activities to ensure are able to deliver best practice goals-based advice and investment implementation to achieve those goals.
• Prepare and present model and client comparison analysis to gain strategic buy in from advisers to implement goals-based investment solutions to optimise their practice.
• In this role, you will collect and analyse data pertinent to understanding the pain points and needs of financial advisers through a high level of engagement with the business development team.
• Working alongside advisers and their operational teams to remove barriers and obstacles preventing their practice from achieving their strategic goals.
• You will demonstrate to advisers the value of strategically partnering with Morningstar by providing advisers training and support on investment solutions, behavioural coaching and practice optimisation services.
• You will work collaboratively to build strong internal relationships with the business development, investment and product teams to deliver our best practice services to advisers.
• You will act as the voice of the adviser as we continue to build our practice optimisation services to take to market remove friction from their advice workflow and end client engagement processes.
• Maintain activity status in Salesforce in a timely and accurate manner of onboarding and ongoing servicing workflows as undertaken with advisers. Including webinars, presentations and operational team support.
• Work with business development to develop, refine and execute our strategy to reduce friction for advisers in their businesses and build deeper and rewarding relationships.
• Be recognised internally as a subject matter expert for practice workflow needs by having a good practical understanding of the adviser to end client engagement processes.
• Perform other duties as necessary.
What we’d expect you’d have on day 1:
Qualifications & experience required:
• A bachelor's degree or other advanced degree/financial planning accreditation
• 3 to 5 years experience serving financial advisers or working in a financial advice firm in a paraplanning or operational capacity.
• RG146 Certification.
• Good technical knowledge of financial adviser workflow, Practice management and licensee requirements. Including technology, investment products and advice and client engagement workflow needs.
• Excellent relationship building skills and a successful track record delivering client centric service to advisers.
• Demonstrated experience of how to improve efficiencies and processes in adviser businesses.
• Strong written and oral communication skills. Including the ability to listen effectively, present a compelling solution to adviser needs and clearly and effectively respond to objections.

Other things that would be useful to have, but not necessary:
• Experience using Tableau, Salesforce, or similar.
• Experience doing webinars and Zoom video meetings.
