Your Role
This is an exciting new opportunity to join our dynamic team and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our business. You will have the chance to directly influence business outcomes, drive meaningful change, and contribute to the success of our growing portfolio.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide meaningful, high quality and timely portfolio analysis to the SME management teams, Actuarial executives and their key customers in the Australia and New Zealand (A&NZ) businesses.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders in identifying and implementing strategies that directly contribute to portfolio growth and profitability.
- Lead the development of technical pricing solutions not limited to technical cost models, conversion and renewal models and model monitoring infrastructure.
- Lead and develop the growing internal and external data assets that can be used to provide pricing and market insights and solutions
- Utilise Radar for scenario testing, impact analysis and updating rates
- Undertake analysis to assist Senior Actuaries in production of the Annual Business Plan.
- Present technical results to a wide range of internal stakeholders including senior management and front-line business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine processes, solve challenges, and drive continuous improvement in a data-driven, digital environment.
Qualifications
Your Skills & Experience
- Minimum 5-7 years relevant actuarial work experience in insurance industry.
- Fellow or Associate of the Institute of Actuaries of Australia or equivalent
- Strong data analytics capabilities, attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to manage competing projects, meet deadlines and manage staff.
- Experience with SQL, EMBLEM, RADAR advantageous.
