Our client, a highly regarded consumer products business, are currently seeking an experienced Assistant Accountant to support their finance team during a period of growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist with the month-end close, including preparing and posting journals, accruals, and prepayments
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processing, including reconciliations and follow-ups
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date general ledger entries.
- Prepare bank, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support the preparation of financial reports and assist with audit requirements
About you:
- Previous experience in a similar Assistant Accountant role (or strong transactional accounting experience with month-end exposure)
- Solid understanding of AP, AR, and general ledger processes
- Degree qualified and studying towards CA/CPA
- Confident using accounting software and Excel
