We are seeking a dynamic Head of End User Compute (EUC) and Assets to drive the strategy, delivery, and operational excellence of all end-user technology and on-site support across St Vincent’s. You will report directly to the Chief Technology Officer and be accountable for the entire modern workplace experience for nearly 30,000 staff. You will lead a large, geographically dispersed national team to ensure that all devices, productivity tools, and assets are secure, reliable, and user-centric.

This is a Permanent Full Time position based in any of our Group Head Offices in Sydney, Brisbane (preferred) or Melbourne on a hybrid working arrangement – 3 days a week in office and 2 days working from home. In this role, there will be a requirement to work on-call or after hours as needed and travel may be .
Key responsibilities of the role:
Develop and execute the enterprise-wide EUC and Assets strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with St Vincent’s broader Digital Strategy and operational objectives
Lead the delivery and lifecycle management of all end-user devices, productivity applications (including Microsoft 365), and collaboration tools, ensuring a secure, reliable, and user-centric workplace experience for our staff
Drive operational excellence by leading automation and self-service initiatives to streamline EUC operations and improve the efficiency of technology support
Oversee a large, geographically dispersed national team of EUC Specialists and various project teams, managing performance, fostering professional development, and promoting a culture of exceptional service delivery
Manage a substantial operational and capital budget for EUC and Assets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value realisation
Act as a key stakeholder for major digital transformation projects, ensuring user readiness and successful adoption of new technologies and manage and maintain strong relationships with vendors and partners
Things that work for us:
Extensive experience in a senior leadership role managing large-scale EUC and asset operations, preferably within a large, complex organisation
Deep expertise in modern end-user computing technologies, including Microsoft 365, endpoint management solutions (e.g., Intune, SCCM), VDI, and mobile device management
Proven track record of leading and motivating large, geographically dispersed teams Demonstrated experience in driving automation, process improvement, and self-service initiatives
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost optimization for IT services
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a proven ability to influence senior leadership and drive change
Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field and relevant professional certifications (e.g., ITIL, Microsoft 365 certifications)
