Opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join a growing firm in the CBD with the following responsibilities:
Be the lead in executing month-end and year-end reports, including month end journals (accruals, prepayments, depreciation) and preparing workpapers
Prepare monthly payroll journals, including annual leave and long- service leave accrual.
Intercompany journals & reconciliations
Maintaining the General Ledger and Balance sheet reconciliations - All monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Assisting with the year end audit process for the Group.
Assist with budgeting and forecasting
Assist in the production of BAS, FBT, PRT returns.
Assist with banking and treasury function.
Ad-hoc projects as required
Ensure Group policies and procedures are adhered to by each business unit.
Drive continuous process improvement.
Provide commercial, financial and decision support to key internal stakeholders.
