About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established and highly respected name in the transport and logistics sector, is currently seeking a Wash Bay Attendant / Yards Person to join their busy Chullora-based operation. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in keeping vehicles and facilities clean and well-organised.
Reporting to the yard supervisor, your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Washing and detailing trucks, trailers, and fleet vehicles
- Maintaining cleanliness and organisation across the yard
- Assisting with general yard duties and vehicle movements
- Safe operation of forklift, as required
- Completing basic documentation and following safety procedures
- Supporting operations staff as required
- Previous experience in a wash bay or yard-hand role (required)
- LF licence highly regarded
- Ability to work independently and follow direction
- Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
- Must be physically fit and willing to work outdoors
