What’s the role?
As a Business Development Manager, you will develop lasting relationships with Relationship Managers and identify new customer acquisition opportunities. You will drive the bank’s growth strategy by securing new transaction banking relationships and revenue.
You’ll be part of the Client Engagement Extended Leadership team, where you will showcase your leadership skills and make a meaningful contribution to the growth of our business and delivery of our strategic objectives.
This is a full-time, Sydney-based opportunity to lead strategic business development. The key responsibilities are:
- Lead the entire sales lifecycle and drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with the relationship management team on strategic sales plans.
- Create compelling pitch documents and presentations.
- Design innovative client solutions using market-leading capabilities.
- Engage and build trust with senior client executives.
- Maintain rigorous sales discipline and reporting.
- Foster relationships with key external partners for joint business development initiatives.
What do I need?
You are an experienced, self-motivated Business Development or Client Manager with proven business sales capability. You will have:
- The ability to build trusted relationships and engage senior stakeholders across institutional clients.
- Strong understanding of transaction banking and treasury solutions, with a passion for innovation and client impact.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- A collaborative mindset and strategic approach to sales planning and execution.
- Discipline in managing pipelines, reporting, and client engagement.
