This is an excellent opportunity to join a vibrant fashion company as an Assistant Accountant. You will become an integral part of a dynamic finance team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. Your responsibilities will include assisting with Month-end reporting, Payroll processing, Forecasting and Other general accounting duties.
This full-time role offers flexible work-from-home arrangements and is conveniently located a 10-minute walk from public transport.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily financial transactions and recurring accounting tasks
- Manage and prepare Bank Reconciliations
- Manage Accounts Payable and payment process
- Manage expense reconciliations and oversee corporate credit card accounts
- Assist with Payroll process including Superannuation, STP and payroll tax
- Assist with Month End Closing Process, including month end journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis
- Track costs and expenditures for events, projects and operations
- Contribute to budgeting and forecasting process
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as an Assistant Accountant
- CA/CPA qualified, currently studying, or holding a tertiary degree in Accounting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with Xero and MYOB (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced business environment
- A team player with a positive and proactive attitude
- Mandarin-speaking skills are an advantage but not essential
