As our Healthcare Recruitment practice continues to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and commercially driven Junior Recruitment Consultant to join the team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone early in their recruitment career who is looking to build long-term success in a fast-paced and rewarding sector. While our Healthcare team is growing, you’ll also be supported by a wider group of experienced recruiters, leaders, and businesses across recruitment and professional services — giving you access to mentorship, training, and career development opportunities well beyond a traditional small-team environment.
This role sits on a true 360 recruitment desk, focused primarily on the placement of General Practitioners (GPs) across Australia, with the support of an experienced Candidate Manager assisting with sourcing and talent pipelines.

What You’ll Be Doing
Business Development & Client Management
- Develop and grow relationships with GP clinics, medical centres, healthcare groups, and healthcare organisations across Australia
- Identify and win new business opportunities within the GP and healthcare sector
- Build trusted partnerships with clients by understanding their workforce needs and delivering tailored recruitment solutions
- Manage client meetings, job briefs, negotiations, and ongoing account development
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process for General Practitioner roles across metro, regional, and rural Australia
- Work closely with a dedicated Candidate Manager to coordinate sourcing activity and talent pipelines
- Screen, interview, and manage candidates through the recruitment lifecycle
- Coordinate interviews, offers, onboarding, and compliance processes
- Write engaging job advertisements and market opportunities effectively
- Build long-term relationships with healthcare professionals and clients
- Stay informed on healthcare market trends, workforce shortages, and industry developments
- Contribute to the ongoing growth and strategy of the Healthcare Recruitment division
About You
We’re looking for someone with energy, resilience, and a genuine drive to succeed.
Essential
- Approximately 6 months to 2 years’ experience in recruitment, sales, account management, or a customer-facing environment
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Commercial mindset with a strong interest in business development
- Motivated, resilient, and eager to learn
- Organised with strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, target-driven environment
- Based in Sydney and able to attend the Sydney office as part of a hybrid working arrangement
- Full Australian working rights (no sponsorship available)
- Exposure to healthcare recruitment or healthcare-related industries
- Experience recruiting or working within disciplines such as:
- General Practice (GP)
- Allied Health
- Physiotherapy
- Nursing
- Aged Care
- Psychiatry
- Radiology/Radiography
- Disability or Community Care
